About Kathleen Farris

My name is Kathleen Farris. I’ve lived in western Massachusetts my entire life. I was born communicating with people in the spirit world. My earliest memories include interacting with several friends and family members in spirit. As a child, I was comforted in knowing that I was never alone here in the physical world. I always had someone to play with, or to talk with, or to just keep me company. As I grew up, I distanced myself from these abilities in order to focus more on the business of this physical reality. As an adult, I yearned to get these abilities back but I didn’t know how. I didn’t know there were psychics and mediums and healers all over the country, let alone right here in western MA. Once I discovered that, I jumped into ongoing classes and development circles. 

For the past decade, I have been learning and practicing how to best use my abilities to serve the people in both worlds. I have been blessed to have studied with some of the world’s top mediums and psychics. I have just been awarded the Fully Certificated Authorized Mavis Pittilla Teacher status. I have been studying with the amazing Mavis Pittilla and her wife, Jean Else, since 2016. Mavis passed to spirit in August 2022, but those of us with this status will carry her legacy and her philosophy forward to new generations of mediums. I will be ordained as a minister with The Journey Within Spiritualist church in June 2023.

I am honored that you have stopped by to learn more about me and my services. I know that my soul's purpose is to help people. My favorite way to help people is by using my various abilities through mediumship, through psychic readings, through facilitating energy clearing and healing, and by sharing what I’ve learned when leading classes. I spent several years as a classroom teacher and I’m now combining that skill set with my psychic background to offer psychic development classes.

I grew up Catholic and still lean into many of those traditions while also honoring the practices and beliefs from around the world. I believe that there is truth in every religion, so I look for those truths and hold them close. I try to respect everyone’s backgrounds, religions, and belief systems in my work. I’m an avid reader of books (both fiction and non-fiction,) always learning more about myself and the many aspects of this human and spiritual experience. I am a runner and a yoga enthusiast. I volunteer in several women’s organizations as a way to extend my ability to serve people and help my community. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, I have a daughter of whom I am immensely proud.
