What’s the difference between a psychic reading and mediumship?
In a psychic reading, the focus is on you, your energy, your past, present, and possible future. In a mediumship session, the focus is on your loved ones in the spirit world.
Can I combine the two areas of focus? Like get part psychic and part mediumship?
Yes, you can. Just let me know at the start of the appointment that you’d like the time divided.
What should I do to prepare?
For a psychic session, you may want to think about your goal(s) for setting the appointment. Is there an issue you need to resolve? Are there questions you need answered? Are you “stuck” and need assistance moving forward? Having those topics sorted in your head before you arrive will streamline the session. For mediumship, there really isn’t anything you need to do to prepare. Your loved ones in the spirit world will do that.
How much time will I need?
If you have just a few questions or want to hear from just a few people in the spirit world, a 30 minute session is plenty.
Can I bring people with me?
Most likely. If you have one friend/family member that you want with you for moral support, that’s fine. Just please email me beforehand so I have the chairs set up before you arrive. If you’d like to set up a larger group reading, please email me so we can ensure that I can meet the needs of your group. Kathleen@KathleenFarris.com The office is not child-proofed so bringing young children in with you will require you to pay close attention to them while you’re inside.
Can I record the session?
Yes, most people use the Voice Memo feature, or the Android equivalent. If we are meeting on Zoom, I can record the video and send that to you afterwards.
How do I set an appointment with a gift card/certificate?
Unfortunately, sometimes the 3rd party applications stop playing nicely together which causes problems for small businesses like me. If you’ve received a gift card/certificate, please email me to set up that appointment. You can see available days and times at www.KathleenFarris.com by clicking on the Schedule an Appointment tab. Click on the appointment type you’re interested in, and a calendar opens. Email that day and time, and I’ll reserve it for you and send you the confirmation email.
Where is your office located?
My office, The Inner Stillness, is located in the Hampton Ponds Plaza at 1029 North Road, Westfield. It’s at the end of East Mountain Road. At the far right-hand side of the building, you’ll see outdoor play equipment (used by the daycare/preschool a few doors down.) Just next to those toys, you’ll see a white sign with red letters saying Offices. Enter through the glass doors beneath that sign, and you’ll see my office inside right up front.
What time zone are you in?
I’m on the East Coast of the USA. Times listed on the appointment scheduler are Eastern.
Can I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
Absolutely! At the bottom of your confirmation email, you’ll see a blue box. By clicking on the Change/Cancel Appointment link, you can make the necessary changes. If you cancel the appointment, a refund will be triggered back to the payment method you used.
What if I miss my appointment?
If you need to reschedule, please let me know 24 hours in advance, if possible. If an emergency arises the day of the appointment, please reach out as early as possible. We can reschedule the appointment to another convenient day and time. If you miss that rescheduled appointment, with no communication from you, I’ll push the appointment out to a random future day and time. You can reschedule it using the link in the confirmation or reminder emails. If we’ve already rescheduled more than once due to you not appearing, with no communication, we’ll consider the appointment completed and no refunds will be given.
What if I’m not satisfied?
It’s rare, but the reality is that one medium/psychic isn’t going to be the “right fit” for every sitter. If, in the first 10 minutes, you or I feel that the sitting isn’t flowing, either of us can end the session and you’ll be refunded fully. After that 10 minute mark, we’ll assume that the flow is working well enough for you to get the information/evidence you need and no refund will be given.
